On this day in 1945, it was a great day against fascism. Benito Mussolini and his mistress Clara Petacci are shot dead by Walter Audisio, a member of the Italian resistance movement. It's a lesson history could repeat as fascism begins to take its toll on the world with its 'alternative facts' and celebration of uneducated morons. Don't push the Resist movement into Resistance. It always gets ugly at the end for tyrants and fascists.
