In a town called Luik in Belgium two police officers and a passerby were shot by a man, police . Two other agents were also injured. The man then held a cleaning lady hostage in a school building. The shooter is now "neutralised", the governor of Luik. The police are on the ground en masse and the surroundings of the school have been evacuated. According to a reporter from broadcaster VTM, the perpetrator was shot in the hall of the school, where the hostage situation took place. That has not been confirmed by the police. According to the police, the perpetrator is a prisoner who went on leave yesterday. The shooting took place at a major crossroads in the city, on Boulevard d'Avroy. Many streets are closed and it is currently chaotic. Gunshots can be heard on video footage made nearby. People are seen fleeing the area:
