"EU Observer " warns : Serbia will strive for natural alternatives - Russia and China

Russia and China are trying to fill the political vacuum , which the European Union leaves in the Balkans , especially in Serbia , writes "EU Observer " . In his opinion , because the European Union is concerned with the Ukrainian crisis , the Western Balkans , as well as discussions on the enlargement of the EU have fallen to the bottom of the European agenda . Thus, the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said that the expansion of the EU will be stopped at least until 2020. (THANK GOD) As stated , the Chinese government sees the Balkans as the center of its long-term strategy of rapid expansion of trade between East and West. Chinese banks have large investments in Serbia . Only in 2014, Belgrade signed 13 agreements and memorandums with Beijing in the sphere of finance , infrastructure, telecommunications and transport. Economic cooperation between the two countries has been strengthened by political agreements , adds , " EU Observer " . Natural alternative for Serbia is Russia , commentator suggests this issue and recalls that the two countries are linked by historical and cultural ties . Russia and China support Serbia's position on Kosovo and Serbia is the only candidate country for EU membership , which did impose sanctions on Russia. Serbia is also the only country outside the Commonwealth of Independent States , which has an agreement with the Free Traficking with Russia. The special relationship between the two countries have been clearly demonstrated in October 2014 , when the Russian president attended the first Serbian military parade since 1986 , according to " EU Observer " . http://ift.tt/1GDvUbA Anyone saying most of our citizens support EU should read the comments below the article in the link.
