Restaurant and catering workers protested against Italy's new pandemic restrictions on Sunday night (25 October). The protest in the Sicilian city of Catania was particularly aimed at new rules mandating that restaurants and bars close at 6pm, nationwide. Like several other countries in Europe and elsewhere, Italy is seeing surging numbers of people with Covid-19.
