Debris fell dangerously from a skyscraper in high winds in New York City on Thursday evening, October 29. The winds had caused a crane attached to the 85-story building in Midtown Manhattan to spin, but it's not clear how or whether that caused the debris to fall. The incident forced the closure of parts of West 57th Street and Sixth Avenue. No injuries were reported.
