Louisiana has been blasted by heavy winds and rain from Hurricane Zeta. America's National Hurricane Center (NHC) said that the Category 2 hurricane made landfall in Cocodrie, Louisiana and will likely bring life-threatening storm surges and strong winds along the Gulf Coast. President Donald Trump has approved emergency aid for Louisiana, authorising federal officials to coordinate disaster relief efforts.
