The Infamously faux-Outrageous Unmasking FUBAR That "super-ace" federal prosecutor appointed by Attorney General William P. Barr to review whether Obama-era officials improperly requested the identities of individuals whose names were redacted in intelligence documents has completed his work without findings of any wrongdoing and has tippy-toed away like it the review never even happened. The whisper-quiet "revelation" that U.S. Attorney John Bash, who packed up and left the department last week, had concluded his review without criminal charges or even releasing any public report to surely just back away and let the "conspiracy" disappear hopefully without any media attention. The department has so far declined to release the results of Bash's work, though officials familiar with Bash's findings say they would disappoint conservatives who have tried so adamantly to paint the "unmasking" of names - a thoroughly common practice in government to help understand classified documents, as some sort of "political conspiracy."
