As Nigel Farage left the Brexit rally in London's Parliament Square on the evening of January 31, Brexit supporters surrounded the Brexit Party leader's car with shouts of approval. Many of the supporters wanted a picture with Mr Farage, who was quickly moved into a Range Rover by security. One woman off-camera can be heard yelling "Nigel, you lied, you said you were gonna take a picture!" One supporter jokingly climbed on the back of the vehicle. A man on a bike in front of the car is pulled backwards by other attendees so Farage can eventually leave the rally.

Bodycam footage released from deadly police-involved shooting in Brownsville nail salon

On October 25, 2019 at approximately 5:40 p.m., a male later Identified as Dewayne Hawkes, 26 entered the Goldmine Nail Salon at 447 Gaston Boulevard attempting to use the restroom. After the male entered, he began to urinate in the middle of the salon. Two uniformed police officers from the 73rd Precinct, in a marked department van, were on patrol and were stopped by the salon operators and requested that the officers remove the disorderly male. In the course of a field investigation, the officers determined that Dewayne Hawkes, 26 had an active warrant and began to place him under arrest and he began to resist. An individual later identified as Kwesi Ashun, 33 standing outside the store entered and engaged in a violent struggle with the uniformed officers. One of the officers deployed a Taser, but it was ineffective in stopping the threat. Ashun continued his violent struggle with the officers by raising up a metal chair and striking NYPD Officer Lesly Lafontant in the head. This officer discharged his firearm six times hitting Ashun 4 times. Ashun was pronounced deceased at the location by EMS.

Body-cam footage released from officer who fired at man wielding umbrella

Body-cam video released Friday by Santa Rosa police shows an officer chasing down a suspect last month moments after he fired three shots at the man, believing the umbrella he was carrying was a gun. The footage, included in a debriefing video narrated by Santa Rosa Police Chief Ray Navarro, captured only the aftermath of the Dec. 7 shooting near Guerneville Road and Sunny View Way. Officer Stephen Darden fired three rounds from his department-issued AR-15 rifle after mistaking the object in the man's hands for a gun. The suspect, identified as Santa Rosa resident Joshua Oceguera, 24, was not hit by the gunfire. Darden did not active his body-worn camera until he began his foot pursuit of Oceguera, moments after he fired on the man. "After he pointed it at me, he opened it up," Darden told dispatchers after the shooting, according to a separate, newly released police recording not captured on the body-cam footage. "It's an umbrella. Shots fired on my end. No injuries." The encounter between Darden and Oceguera came moments after two 911 calls made to police by people who said they saw what resembled a man holding a gun, walking along Guerneville Road and pointing it at passing motorists. After the brief footchase, Darden's body-cam video shows him tackling Oceguera onto the ground on the side of the road and then ordering him to roll over onto his stomach. The man is handcuffed and then searched, with Darden confiscating what appeared to be two knives and a cellphone, video showed. In addition to Darden's body-cam footage and the two 911 recordings, police released separate body-cam footage from other officers, including a fellow Santa Rosa officer who helped detain Oceguera. Navarro, describing the shooting in his video debriefing, said Darden feared for his life. Darden ordered Oceguera to show his hands over his patrol car's PA system, but Oceguera did not comply. "Oceguera turned and faced the officer with a bladed stance and pointed the object at the officer," Navarro said. "Fearing for his life, the officer lifted his service rifle and fired three shots."

Video Shows Fight Between Alleged Parkland School Shooter, Guard

Newly released video from the Broward Sheriff's Office shows a fight between the alleged Parkland school shooter and an armed guard inside a Broward County jail. The surveillance video shows a portion of the Nov. 13, 2018 encounter between confessed Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz and Sgt. Raymond Beltran. Cruz is seen on the video appearing to taunt Beltran before violently rushing toward him. The two wrestled on the ground before Cruz was eventually subdued and put in handcuffs. Cruz was subsequently charged with attempted aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon, battery on a law enforcement officer, depriving an officer of means of protection, and attempted use of a self-defense weapon, Beltran's Taser. Cruz has pleaded not guilty to those charges, as well as the 17 murder and 17 attempted murder charges stemming from the Feb. 14, 2018 attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Civilian gets in the middle of Tukwila police incident with armed man

Tukwila police released body camera video Friday showing how a civilian interfered with an investigation and made the situation more dangerous for officers. On Jan. 28, officers responded to reports of a man threatening people with a knife along Tukwila International Blvd. Officers repeatedly told the man to get on the ground, but he did not comply. As they were working to de-escalate the situation, a passing driver stopped his car in the middle of the road, got out and started recording the scene with his smartphone, police said. The driver ignored officers' commands to stay back and instead walked right up to the suspect. Officers pulled that man to the ground for his own safety, police said. But he then began kicking the officer and hitting the officer with his cell phone. Police ended up arresting both of the men. The so-called good samaritan is facing charges for obstructing a public servant and assaulting an officer. The man with the knife is also facing charges for brandishing a weapon and obstructing a public servant, police said.

Russian officials rescue over 500 'amateur' fishermen who got stranded on giant ice floe.

More than 500 fishermen in Russia needed to be rescued on Tuesday after they got stranded on a giant ice floe that broke off and drifted away from land. The Russia Emergency Situations Ministry said the incident happened just off the shore from the island of Sakhalin, in eastern Siberia. "Contrary to common sense and rescuers' warnings, who were informed via SMS messages and the media that going out on the ice is extremely dangerous, several hundred people decided to try their luck and went out on unreliable ice," EMERCOM of Russia said. Officials said that around 8:40 a.m. Moscow time, a nearly 23-foot crack formed in the ice off the coast in the Mordvinov's Bay, trapping 536 "amateur" fishermen. Over the next seven hours, EMERCOM said that 20 people were involved in the rescue operation that included three boats and one hovercraft. Around 60 more people were able to get back on the shore on their own Tuesday evening, emergency officials said. Footage of the incident showed groups of people using smaller pieces of ice as rafts and trying to row to the coast on them, as the ice floe with stranded fishermen slowly drifted farther away from the land. According to some of the fishermen, by the time they had been rescued, the rift between the ice floe and the coast was already some 650 feet wide. Jail staff mocked a sick man as he begged for help. Days later, he was dead

From an isolation cell in the Ottawa County Jail, Terral Ellis begged for someone to help him. He could not feel his legs and he could not breathe, the 26-year-old told jail staff and the on-site nurse at the Miami, Oklahoma, facility. It felt, he said, like his back was broken and he was bleeding internally. "I think I'm dying," he said just after 10 a.m. on Oct. 22, 2015. Staff mocked him, laughed at a joke about the "boy who cried wolf," and ignored him as he moaned. When nurse Theresa Horn arrived later that morning, she did not help either - instead threatening to chain Ellis to the ground if he continued to complain. "I'm sick and tired of f---ing dealing with your ass!" she yelled. "Ain't a damn thing nothing wrong with you!" Hours later, Ellis was dead. Video surveillance footage of Ellis's 12 days in jail in 2015 became public for the first time last week as part of an ongoing federal lawsuit. The 18 clips taken from 16 cameras - which were edited down from the hundreds of hours of footage given to the Ellis family's lawyers - show how jail staff repeatedly mocked Ellis and refused him adequate medical treatment. On Oct. 10, 2015, Ellis took the advice of his grandfather and turned himself into the county jail on an outstanding warrant for an old DUI. On Oct. 22, he was rolled out on a paramedic's stretcher - cold and unresponsive from septic shock brought on by pneumonia, a medical examiner later ruled.

Rogue Cop Points Gun, Tries to Open Car Door During Routine Traffic Stop

Disclaimer: The media did not cover this traffic stop. Snippets of news anchors broadcasting (during actual high-speed chases involving criminal conduct) have been included for comedic effect. The driver was stopped for speeding and weaving. He slowed down and turned to stop in a safe location, off the main road. Officer Eric Graham of Parker Police, a rogue cop notorious for having committed homicide last year with the approval of the District Attorney, decided to treat this traffic stop like a high-speed chase. What was he afraid of? Is he just inherently barbaric and violent? Maybe he needs better training? In any case, after trying to exercise due care, the driver was rewarded with a gun nearly pointed at his head. Trial transcripts reveal that Officer Graham perceived the driver reaching back to get his insurance docs as extremely suspicious. (Enough to warrant pointing a gun in the backseat, near his head.) The driver did NOT have a firearm and was not fleeing from the police. The car was NOT stolen. The driver had no outstanding warrants.

Florida woman flips stolen van while trying to evade police

A Florida woman was arrested after leading law enforcement authorities on a wild vehicle pursuit in a stolen van. The chase ended with the suspect flipping the vehicle several times as she attempted to flee. DeLand Police said it all started before 11 a.m. Monday, when they tried to stop a the driver who ran a stop sign. However, the van's driver did not stop and was spotted later by a Volusia County Sheriff's Office helicopter driving erratically on International Speedway Boulevard, Fox News reported. Riveting video footage from the air unit shows the van lose control and rollover twice. The automobile had been reported stolen out of Orange County. After rolling, the stolen van came to rest on its' side. Body camera footage then shows sheriff's deputies and DeLand police officers approaching the white van and pulling a female driver from the overturned vehicle. Moreover, a small dog in the van escaped the rollover accident unharmed. Different types of prescription pills and heroin were found in the automobile. Law enforcement authorities identified the driver as Sarah Yurman. She was injured in the crash and taken to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach. Upon her medical release, she will face multiple charges, including attempting to flee, eluding law enforcement and possession of narcotics, according to Fox.

for what, meth? This is a problem in Seattle, these drug addicted homeless degens are not forced off the streets and the democrat liberal city council will not do anything except enable them by giving them free needles and not towing their rundown RV's. Less than 40% of arrests are prosecuted here, mainly because they are homeless and on drugs. Sometimes they won't even arrest for meth or heroin possession. Pasco K-9 Shep takes down fleeing suspect

A Pasco County Sheriff's Office K-9 and his handler made fast work of chasing down a suspect over the weekend. The sheriff's office released a video from Deputy Carmack 's body camera showing him and his K-9, Shep chasing a suspect through a neighborhood in Hudson after a victim reported three men pulled a gun and fired in his direction. The video shows Deputy Carmack release Shep's leash and the dog race forward around a home. The next scene shows Shep with the suspect lying face down on the ground as another deputy handcuffs the suspect, 19-year-old Daniel Joseph Still, Jr. Deputies later caught the other two suspects. All three are charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest without violence. A sheriff's spokesperson said Shep and the office's other K-9s are invaluable. "It provides us a step up, especially on tracking," said sheriff's spokesperson Amanda Hunter. "And the dogs can run much faster, too. They're able to catch up with suspects a lot quicker."

BODYCAM Seattle Police Officer-Involved Shooting

Seattle police and King County Sheriff's deputies shot and wounded a suspect in a narcotics investigation Wednesday afternoon in Belltown. Officers and deputies were conducting a narcotics operation near 3rd Avenue and Blanchard Street around 2:45 PM in response to community complaints about drug dealing in the area. During the operation, police attempted to arrest a suspect in a vehicle at 3rd Avenue and Blanchard. When police approached the vehicle, officers reported seeing a gun. SPD officers and King County Sheriff's Deputies opened fire on the 25-year-old suspect, who was struck and wounded. Medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. In accordance with Initiative 940, the South King County Valley Investigative Unit will conduct an independent investigation into the use of force during the incident. SPD detectives will also continue a separate criminal investigation of the suspect. Police are still interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence in the case. This remains an active and on-going investigation. Information presented here is preliminary and subject to change as the investigation proceeds.

Police release bodycam video after officers shoot, injure suspect

Officers on Saturday afternoon released police body camera video after officers shot and injured a man Wednesday in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood. Seattle police and King County deputies were conducting a narcotics operation about 2:45 p.m. near Third Avenue and Blanchard Street in response to community complaints about drug dealing in the area when police attempted to arrest a 25-year-old man who was in a vehicle, officials said. In the video, which begins just as an officer approaches the suspicious vehicle, everything seems to begin smoothly, and then the driver tells authorities he had bought the car but didn't have any proof. After officers ask additional questions, the driver then says he is on his way to get the title so the car can be transferred to his name. The officer confirms there's no warrant for his arrest as another officer continues speaking to the driver. The man then tries to drive away and crashes into a Seattle police patrol vehicle, stopping the man's car. Police can be heard telling the man to relax and stop. In the video, a deputy is seen approaching the car, and then someone yells, "He's got a gun." In just moments, gunfire is heard. After several commands from officers, police and deputies then approach the car, asking the man to show his hands. The man is then pulled out of the car and officers are heard saying, "Get him in custody." Officers and deputies said Wednesday when they approached the man, they reportedly saw a gun and then opened fire, striking and wounding the man. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No officers or deputies were injured.

"F-Troop" vs. the FCC

"F-Troop" was a sit-com that ran from 1965 to 1967. As was typical of comedy at the time ....... writers, actors and comedians were constantly pushing the envelope in terms of what they could get away with under the Puritanical yoke of the FCC and network censors. It was a tightrope walk, though. Push too hard, and...... POOF!! .....you were gone, regardless of ratings. The Smothers Brothers were a prime casualty of this reality. The writers of F-Troop were able to walk the tightrope for 65 episodes without a stumble.......well, almost, anyway. Originally, they wanted to name the Indian tribe the "Fukawi". But, the censors caught on to the joke and nixed that notion. Instead, the writers had to settle for the tribe being named the "Hekawi". The first video is the joke around the tribe's name. Imagine how much funnier it would have been with the original "Fukawi" name. The second video shows that comedy writers are ALWAYS smarter than the censors. Yes, the writers snuck this one past the boys at the FCC. Aren't euphemisms wonderful?? ..............

Cashiers and a guard fought off raiders at a gas station

Early on Saturday morning, January 25, two raiders attacked a gas station in Orsk. Judging by the recording from the surveillance camera, the robbery did not go according to plan. The attackers, armed with an object resembling a gun, broke into the storehouse and demanded to give them the proceeds. Instead of the expected cash, the criminals received fierce resistance. The guard and employees of the gas station entered the fray with the bandits. After a tense confrontation by joint efforts, they managed to expel the attackers. Whether it was possible to defend the contents of the cash desks is not yet specified.
