Video shows the moment police find child inside stolen car

Police have identified the suspect accused of stealing a car with a 1-year-old child inside. According to Union City Police, 22-year-old Hasheim Edison is wanted for kidnapping and theft by taking. Police said Edison stole the car from the Shell gas station on Roosevelt Highway around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Surveillance video shows the owner of the car run out of the store just as the suspect drives off. When store manager Prem Kunwar learned that there was a 1-year-old boy in the car, he jumped into his own car to chase him down. "I still went out there to follow him but I couldn't catch him," Kinwar said. Atlanta Police officers later found the car parked at the Atlanta airport with the child inside. Video shows the moments after police found the child: The child was checked out by Grady EMS on the scene and was turned over to family, police said. The child's father, 22-year-old Larry James, was charged with second-degree cruelty to children because, according to police, he walked into the store and left the baby in the car for nearly five minutes with the doors unlocked and engine running for an "extended time".

Whistleblower attorney '60 Minutes' 'misinterpreted' key letter

The "Media" making stuff up? Say it isn't so!! LMAO A lawyer representing the unidentified whistleblower in Congress' impeachment investigation blasted "60 Minutes" on Sunday, saying the program "misinterpreted" a letter from his legal team in reporting that it indicated his client is under federal protection. Mark Zaid, the attorney, tweeted that the famed news program "completely misinterpreted contents of our letter," which he linked to from his Twitter post. The CBS program tweeted a brief defense of its report, saying: "60 Minutes stands by its sources and reporting on the whistleblower." This prompted a more scathing response from Zaid. "Is @60Minutes now asserting it has a source other than letter our legal team sent to @ODNIgov? Because if it doesn't, and I know it doesn't, then it is literally making stuff up. That helps no one, especially the #whistleblower. The media should always accurately report facts," he tweeted. The whistleblower allegations represent a major threat to the Trump presidency. The allegation is that the president pressured Ukraine to investigate the Bidens, with some Democrats also arguing that he held up military aid as part of that effort. The whistleblower also claims that the administration went to great lengths to "bury" the controversial phone call on July 25 between Trump and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump denies any wrongdoing and said he was just making sure that the country, known to be besieged by corruption, was getting off on the right foot with its new president. "60 Minutes" reported Sunday that it received a letter that indicated that the government whistleblower has been put under federal protection due to safety concerns. The report showed a PDF file of the Sept. 28 letter from the Compass Rose Legal Group, to the officer of acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire. The letter said, in part, "The purpose of this letter is to formally notify of serious concerns we have regarding our client's personal safety. We appreciate your office's support thus far to activate appropriate resources to ensure their safety." The letter did not specify the "support" or "resources" that were offered. The letter stressed the urgency in protecting the whistleblower's identity and claimed that there's a $50,000 bounty for information about the client. The letter was signed by Andrew P. Bakaj, the lead attorney in the case.

Teens Rob Man in Wheelchair in Brazen Daytime LRT Platform Attack

On the heels of a recent dust-up over a St. Paul Police Department document describing the Metro Transit Green Line as a "crime magnet" and source of increased crime in the metro, a new video has surfaced showing two teens robbing and assaulting a man in a wheelchair at a light rail transit platform near the Minnesota Capitol. The attack happened about 4:30 on Sunday afternoon Aug. 25 on a transit platform near Rice Street, but was just revealed in a report on Friday by WCCO. The video shows two suspects who were reported to be 14 years old approaching the man, accosting him before knocking him over and apparently stealing his cell phone. The teens can be seen fleeing from the robbery on green Nice Ride rental bikes.

Milwaukee Police Officer Shoots Criminal Armed With A Gun

(Audio Starts At 33 Seconds) The Milwaukee Police Department released on Friday, Sept. 27 a Community Briefing tied to the officer-involved shooting of Jamel Barnes. The briefing includes body camera video from the incident which happened near 21st and Townsend just after midnight on Wednesday, Aug. 14. During a foot pursuit, police said Barnes turned toward officers, armed with a handgun. Police said officers gave commands for Barnes to drop the gun, but he refused. An officer then fired his service weapon and struck Barnes. Barnes was arrested and taken to a hospital for treatment. A weapon was recovered at the scene of the shooting. Police in Ohio have released video they say shows an inmate collecting contraband dropped by drone over a county jail's outdoor exercise yard. Cuyahoga County officials released the video Tuesday. The security video shows an inmate in an outdoor area at Cuyahoga County Jail's complex in Euclid looking up at something off-camera. He later attempts to catch an item falling above him. He misses and collects the item from the ground and walks out of view. Authorities say the dropped parcel contained a cellphone and loose-leaf marijuana. The county sheriff's office launched an investigation and has turned the case over to prosecutors.

Police say burglaries at a computer store and cellphone store are likely related. Wyoming police arrested two juveniles. Three of the four burglars were in and out of Fortitude Computers in a matter of seconds. The fourth returned to the store and was inside for some time. It happened at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. Owner Katherine Key Griswold said that a sledgehammer, left behind by the burglars, was used to gain entry. Three motorcycles were involved in a hard head-on crash that left at least 2 boys in a comma and another one with an exposed broken knee. It happened at a zone called New Boulevard, placed next to the coast of this town. The video shows the moment when the 150cc motorcycle crashes directly against a 110cc going in the opposite direction. Another motorcycle, also a 110cc, was involved as the first vehicle falls directly in front. Alejandro Ternovic (22) had his knee severely wounded but remained conscious until going to surgery. Manuel Vives (17), and Ivo Vell'on (18) suffered severe head trauma and are now in a comma. Relatives await for a certain diagnosis of their condition. A Russian trawler that caught fire in the northern Norwegian port of Tromso capsized and sank Thursday morning after burning for nearly 24 hours. The White House released an unclassified transcript of the July 25 call between Trump and Zelensky, during which the president made no explicit reference to withholding military aid. "The Daily Show's" tweet shows a clearly doctored version of that transcript, portraying Trump as having no idea what foreign leader he is talking to or what country he represents. "And it's very impressive, what you've done, with that country, and the people of that country. Where it is. The people and the buildings, in that country," read the parody tweet. Obozocare Costs Taxpayers $1,820,114,940 in losses and failures

Liberal ideas at work for you...so VOTE MORE of them in right? LMFAO Seventeen Obamacare co-ops have now failed. The Health Republic insurance of New Jersey yesterday announced it would close, leaving 35,000 members without coverage next year. The New Jersey co-op, which received almost $110 million in taxpayer loans now joins a list of 16 other Obamacare co-ops that have collapsed since Obamacare has been implemented. In all, failed co-ops have now cost taxpayers more than $1.8 billion in funds that may never be recovered. Co-ops were hyped as not-for-profit alternatives to traditional insurance companies created under Obamacare. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) financed co-ops with startup and solvency loans, totaling more than $2.4 billion in taxpayer dollars. They have failed to become sustainable with many collapsing amid the failure of Obamacare exchanges. Co-ops across the country have struggled to operate in Obamacare exchanges, losing millions despite receiving enormous government subsidies. Since September last year, 14 Obamacare co-ops have collapsed, with only six of the original 23 co-ops remaining. In July, co-ops in Oregon and Illinois collapsed leaving close to 100,000 without insurance. Enrollees on one of the failed co-ops also face the risk of being hit with the Obamacare individual mandate tax penalty for not having insurance. In response to the wave of failed co-ops, the House Committee on Ways and Means recently marked up the CO-OP Consumer Protection Act of 2016 (H.R. 954), legislation to protect individuals who were on a failed co-op from this tax. This important legislation should now be considered by the full House and swiftly approved. The mass failure of co-ops should not be surprising. Larger insurance companies have also struggled to operate in Obamacare exchanges with many announcing they will stop providing coverage. The web of government subsidies have also failed to provide insurances the funds they were promised. One of these programs - risk corridors -- recouped just 12.6 percent of the funds that insurers requested. The program, which was created to encourage insurers to take on higher risk individuals by transferring funds from insurers who made money to those that posted losses, was required to be budget neutral under law leaving Obamacare insurers with a significant shortfall. Obamacare co-ops have also been plagued by inept management and unrealistic business models. As a report by the Daily Caller's Richard Pollock found, 17 of the 21 co-ops paid out gratuitous salaries to executives reaching as high as $587,000, which is more than four times as much as the $135,000 median health insurance executive salary. Worse still, many of these executives had little to no experience in the insurance industry and some of these excessive salaries were disguised in financial documents as "management fees." Last year, 21 of 23 co-ops posted losses. Given the trend of failing Obamacare co-ops, the collapse of the New Jersey co-op will not be the last. From a film transfer I ran. Military types unloading chicken and shrimp boxes from, and because I can identify things from the slightest of details, i.e ribbing of the right rear quarter panel, a Chevrolet Corvair van. That identifies the time frame this was captured. Film stock was Dupont 16mm film which bears a date code of 'L' signifying 1963. Odd term 'wagerized' that I couldn't find reference to and couldn't make out the logo on the cartons. Other parts of the film suggest south Texas area.

"When Burlington Police officers encountered Mr. Peterson they made every attempt to encourage Mr. Peterson to disarm himself and end the encounter peacefully, but ultimately officers were unsuccessful in their attempts to do so," Dennis Kramer Burlington Chief of Police said in a news release. "As Mr. Prosser found, this left Burlington Police officers with no choice but to stop Mr. Peterson by their use of deadly force. All Burlington Police officers involved in the shooting remain employed by the City of Burlington and will return to work in the near future." Prosser found that "Peterson was an active shooter in the City of Burlington armed with a semi-automatic pistol, endangering the lives of numerous Burlington residents in two separate neighborhoods," according to Kramer. "The City is providing the public with the body-worn camera videos and dash camera videos that contain the immediate facts and circumstances surrounding the shooting from its officers that responded to the officer-involved shooting."

Bloomberg Cancels Fake Recession Mongering...

Amid Too Much Good MAGAnomic Data....................WINNING................. Last week U.S. economic data included the Labor Department's report on initial filings for unemployment benefits, at historically low levels. Also last week, the Commerce Department reported the U.S. housing market (new homes and permits) was the strongest since 2007. Then came the Philadelphia Fed's index of manufacturing business activity in September, more than doubling estimates as factories continue to expand. And if that wasn't too much winning, the Commerce Department then announced August retail sales growth was double expectations. Main Street USA is very strong. . . None of the economic data supports the almost month-long 'recession narrative' pushed by financial pundits and media narrative engineers; and next week the second estimate of Q2 GDP growth will be released. Attempting to retain the smallest remaining whiff of credibility, the Bloomberg economists now announce they're cancelling the recession. Yes, in a piece titled "Hold That Recession - U.S. Indicators are Trouncing Forecasts", Bloomberg admits the economy doesn't match their gloomy narrative: (Bloomberg) - The U.S. economy is outperforming expectations by the most this year, offering a fresh rebuttal to last month's resurgent recession fears fueled by the trade war and a manufacturing slump. The Bloomberg Economic Surprise Index has reached an 11-month high after four indicators released Thursday, including existing home sales and jobless claims, each surpassed expectations. The gauge continued to advance after swinging to positive from negative on Tuesday for the first time this year. The data also pushed a similar measure produced by Citigroup Inc. to the highest level since April 2018. "It says things are getting better," said Jim Paulsen, chief investment strategist at Leuthold Group in Minneapolis "There's a definitive change in the growth profile and there's an acceleration in growth. It's interesting how pessimistic the attitudes still are among investors, yet when you look at surprise indexes, you would think people would feel better about growth. There's a disconnect."
