New details have emerged in the fiery crash that killed five people in St. Lucie County on November 23. State troopers said Tanner Dashner,21, was speeding and under the influence when he caused the deadly crash. "Oh my God," said one 911 caller in the moments after the crash. In surveillance video from a nearby business, you can see the victims' Dodge Dakota start to pull off near an intersection when Dashner barrels his GMC Yukon into the Dakota pushing the pickup truck into the intersection just before it bursts into flames. "It's engulfed, it's engulfed, it's totally engulfed," said another 911 caller. In cellphone video from someone on the scene moments after the crash, you see a man rush toward the flames with a fire extinguisher. Another 911 caller claimed Dashner almost hit her car right before the crash. "This car almost hit me and then up ahead he just ran into something and then a huge fire happened. Oh God," she said. The victims' ages ranges from 16 to 27. Investigators say Dashner was driving 97 mph in a 30 mph zone and his blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit when he slammed into the Dakota. Pictures taken by investigators show two bottles of liquor being removed from Dashner's Yukon. Dashner is still locked up on a $7.5 million bond. A 14-year-old girl in the Dakota survived the crash and was pulled from the wreckage. Dashner will be back in court in August.
