A Doral doctor is facing battery charges after police say he was caught on camera hitting a security guard twice with his car at an entrance gate to his neighborhood. Dr. Kenneth Strubbe, 52, was arrested Thursday on two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to an arrest report. According to the report, the 18-year-old security guard, who works for the Doral Isles community, was working at the entrance in the 7200 block of Northwest 114th Avenue on May 24 when the incident happened. Strubbe, who was driving his white Lexus, was trying to tailgate behind an SUV into the community when the guard tried to slow the vehicle with hand signals and verbal commands, the report said. The morning of the incident Strubbe had been emailing property management complaining about security at the access gates, saying it was like "having to go through a TSA zone,"
