Apparently the video shows a moment of the Battle for the Seelow Heights where Germans had their last and immense defense line to the East from Berlin. That was the last battle prior to the Battle of Berlin itself. The German perimeter is secured by barbed wire - it can be seen in the video as a thin black line. What would be your feelings while approaching the hill if you were one of those Soviet soldiers?
