Woman smashes 500 bottles of alcohol in five minutes during bizarre Aldi rampage

The video shows a woman smashing bottles of wine, beer and spirits to the floor of the supermarket in Hertfordshire, UK. New Car Showroom Demolition Derby

"A Russian man, disgruntled by a 20 minute inconvenience at a car dealership, went on a rampage destroying several cars and demolishing a showroom floor, police said. The off-road rage incident occurred Saturday at the Pelican Cars auto dealership in Northern Moscow. A man, identified only as a local doctor and father of two, had come in to pick up his vehicle, which was at the dealership for repairs. The man was instructed to wait for an employee to retrieve the vehicle. The 35-year-old obstetrician initially waited calmly in a reception area but after a 20 minute wait, he became increasingly angry until his temper reached a boiling point. Rather than seek out an employee for assistance, the man went outside and got into the dealership's loaner car, Interfax.ru reported. Video surveillance cameras inside the dealership captured the Grand Vitara burst through a showroom window and smash into several vehicles on display. The car, which looked more like a motorized battering ram, repeatedly smashed the cars, a structural support pillar and miscellaneous showroom items. This destruction continued until the vehicle became wedged in an office at the back of the showroom. At that point security guards pulled the man from the vehicle and restrained him until police arrived on the scene. According to Russia Today, no one was injured during the attack, which lasted approximately three minutes. Authorities said they are thankful the cement pillar that had been rammed several times did not collapse. The pillar supports the building's second story and the outcome could have been devastating if it had given way because the dealership is located in a busy shopping plaza. Three brand new cars were destroyed in the rampage, as was everything on the showroom floor. Preliminary figures indicate damages are excess of a million rubles, or about $33,700. The dealership issued a statement to the Telegraph stating they were shocked by the incident. They also indicated there were likely other issues going on in the man's life that contributed to his alleged actions. "It is doubtful that the issue of waiting for a car for 20 minutes from the time appointed led the client to be in such a state," the statement said. "Further conclusions must be left to the police, prosecutors and courts, and possibly psychiatrists." Chula Vista, CA - Police responded to an auto accident near the intersection of N. Rancho Del Rey Parkway NO Del Rey Blvd. The male driver of a Subaru was driving at a high rate of speed southbound on N. Rancho Del Rey Prkwy. when he lost control of the car. The efforts to overturn the election results were centered in approximately 10 municipal regions, and Pennsylvania holds two of them in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. THE RESOLUTION: Declaring the results of statewide electoral contests in the 2020 General Election to be in dispute. WHEREAS, Article I, Section 4, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution empowers state legislatures, including the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to prescribe the "Times, Places, and Manner" of conducting elections; and WHEREAS, Article II, Section 1, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution empowers state legislatures, including the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to direct the manner of appointing electors for President and Vice President of the United States; and WHEREAS, the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has exercised its authority to establish election administration procedures for the Commonwealth, known as the Pennsylvania Election Code; and WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania Election Code requires all mail-in ballots to be received by eight o'clock P.M. on the day of the election; and WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania Election Code requires election officials at polling places to authenticate the signatures of in-person voters; and WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania Election Code requires that county boards of elections shall not meet to conduct a pre-canvass of all absentee and mail-in ballots until seven o'clock A.M. on Election Day, during which time defects on mail-in ballots would be identified; and WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania Election Code prohibits the counting of defective absentee or mail-in ballots; and WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania Election Code authorizes "watchers," selected by candidates and political parties, to observe the process of canvassing absentee and mail-in ballots; and WHEREAS, the Commonwealth conducted an election on November 3, 2020 for federal offices, including selecting electors for President and Vice President of the United States; and WHEREAS, officials in the Executive and Judicial Branches of the Commonwealth infringed upon the General Assembly's authority under the United States Constitution by unlawfully changing the rules governing the November 3, 2020 election in the Commonwealth; and WHEREAS, on September 17, 2020, less than seven weeks before the November 3, 2020 election, the partisan majority on the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania unlawfully and unilaterally extended the deadline for mail-in ballots to be received, mandated that ballots mailed without a postmark would be presumed to be received timely, and could be accepted without a verified voter signature; and WHEREAS, on October 23, 2020, less than two weeks before the November 3, 2020 election and upon a petition from the Secretary of the Commonwealth, the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania ruled that mail-in ballots need not authenticate signatures for mail-in ballots, thereby treating in-person and mail-in voters dissimilarly and eliminating a critical safeguard against potential election crime; and WHEREAS, on November 2, 2020, the night before the November 3, 2020 election and prior to the prescribed time for pre-canvassing mail-in ballots, the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth encouraged certain counties to notify party and candidate representatives of mail-in voters whose ballots contained defects; and WHEREAS, heavily Democrat counties permitted mail-in voters to cure ballot defects while heavily Republican counties followed the law and invalidated defective ballots; and WHEREAS, in certain counties in the Commonwealth, watchers were not allowed to meaningfully observe the pre-canvassing and canvassing activities relating to absentee and mail-in ballots; and WHEREAS, in other parts of the Commonwealth, watchers observed irregularities concerning the pre-canvassing and canvassing of absentee and mail-in ballots; and WHEREAS, postal employees in Pennsylvania have reported anomalies relating to mail-in ballots, including multiple ballots delivered to a single address with unfamiliar addressees, ballots mailed to vacant homes, empty lots, and addresses that did not exist; and WHEREAS, witnesses testifying before the Pennsylvania Senate Majority Policy Committee on November 25, 2020 have provided additional compelling information regarding the questionable nature of the administration of the 2020 General Election; and WHEREAS, there remains ongoing litigation concerning the administration of the November 3, 2020 election in the Commonwealth; and WHEREAS, in 2016, Pennsylvania's general election results were certified on December 12, 2016, and on November 24, 2020, the Secretary of the Commonwealth unilaterally and prematurely certified results of the November 3, 2020 election regarding presidential electors despite ongoing litigation; and WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives has the duty to ensure that no citizen of this Commonwealth is disenfranchised, to insist that all elections are conducted according to the law, and to satisfy the general public that every legal vote is counted accurately; THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the Pennsylvania House of Representatives- 1. Recognizes substantial irregularities and improprieties associated with mail-in balloting, pre-canvassing, and canvassing during the November 3, 2020 election; and 2. Disapproves of the infringement on the General Assembly's authority pursuant to the United States Constitution to regulate elections; and 3. Disapproves of and disagrees with the Secretary of the Commonwealth's premature certification of the results of the November 3, 2020 election regarding presidential electors; and 4. Declares that the selection of presidential electors and other statewide electoral contest results in this Commonwealth is in dispute; and 5. Urges the Secretary of the Commonwealth and the Governor to withdraw or vacate the certification of presidential electors and to delay certification of results in other statewide electoral contests voted on at the 2020 General Election; and 6. Theory : the inadvertent signalling to other civilisations, using the medium of thermonuclear explosions. This took me a few years to make and has been on the boil for quite some time. I don't have a production company or a budget so there's no voice over with will smith and there's no real fancy VFX to emphasise the point or indeed a link with the film close encounters. But its an educational piece all the same. What i wanted to do was take each of the notes from Close encounters and overlay them for each of the countries firing off shots.. but this turned out to be a task way too complex for me. I hope you can understand where i was going with this and enjoy it for what it is a... s simple theory of a people lost in space who in their subconscious wish to talk to others of their kind and will go to quite weird lengths to make themselves known to the rest of the civilisations out there.

Supporters of Gimnasia y Esgrima in La Plata, Argentina - the club that Diego Maradona last coached, mourned his passing outside the Juan Carmelo Zerillo stadium today (November 25) as soon as the news of the star's death was known. The club decided to open its doors so that his followers could express their feelings. Flags, banners, lighted candles, chants, and many tears were were on show as the fans of the team - known as Lobo - gathered to mourn Maradona, who since September had adopted him as their own. "We always loved him, but since we saw him wearing our colors and shouting 'dale Lobo', like any of us, we love him forever," said fan Javier, who could not hold back his tears. "Diego was always the people and Gimnasia is the people. That is why we swore eternal love. It was very strong to have him with us, to see the love they gave him everywhere and to him kissing our shield," said Pablo, another fan. Gabriela, a fan who was present with her daughter, both with the shirt with the name of Maradona and the 10 on the back, stressed that "when they announced that he was going to be the Gimnasia coach nobody could believe". SPARKS, Md. - A video shows a drunk driver in Baltimore County going airborne in a ditch off Interstate 83, Maryland State Police said. The video shows a car swerve off the interstate at the Belfast Road exit, passing between the posts holding up a highway sign and then going airborne. State police said the driver refused treatment at the scene. He was not hurt but was cited for several traffic violations, including driving under the influence. https://ift.tt/35Xbc9I Lansing - The Michigan board in charge of certifying election results cast a pivotal vote Monday to validate the state's tallies, cementing Democratic President-elect Joe Biden's victory despite unproven claims of fraud levied by Republican President Donald Trump. The Board of State Canvassersvoted 3-0 to certify the results after taking about three hours of public comment from election officials, lawmakers and residents. Republican board member Aaron Van Langevelde crossed over to join the two Democratic board members in supporting certification,which is traditionally viewed as an administrative step but had drawn the spotlight as Trump's campaign questioned the integrity of the election. The other Republican on the panel, Norm Shinkle, abstained. "We have a clear legal duty to certify the results of the election, as shown by the returns that were given to us," Van Langevelde said. "We cannot and should not go beyond that. As John Adams once said, 'We are a government of laws, not men.' "This board needs to adhere to that principle and do its part to uphold the rule of law here today. This board must uphold the law and comply with our legal duty to certify this election." Shinkle called for the Republican-led Legislature to conduct an in-depth review of election procedures in the state. He also cited Wayne County, where two GOP canvassers said they regretted their votes to certify the county results because of out-of-balance absentee ballot counting boards in Detroit. "I do not plan on voting for certification. I believe Wayne County's certification needs to be looked at," Shinkle said before abstaining. Van Langevelde, an attorney who works for Michigan House Republicans, and Shinkle, a longtime GOP political activist, personified the diverging approaches of members of their party to the election results. Van Langevelde contended that the law necessitated certification, while Shinkle continued to question the entire process. Ben Halle, spokesman for Biden's presidential campaign in Michigan, touted the board's decision, saying it was a "recognition of the plain facts" that the former vice president won the state by more than 154,000 votes. "We thank the State of Michigan for its support and look forward to receiving its 16 electoral votes," Halle said. Republican Party leaders had urged the Board of State Canvassers to delay certification and review tallies in Wayne County, Michigan's largest county. But Van Langevelde, an attorney who works for House Republicans, said he had reviewed state law and the board was simply required to canvass the county returns and determine the results. "I've reviewed every section. I haven't found anything about an audit," Van Langevelde said. "I found nothing about authority for us to delay certification because we're waiting for more accurate results. I found nothing about making certification contingent on an audit. I found nothing that gives us the authority to review complaints for fraud. "I mean, I think, the law is pretty clear here." The four canvassers had already been presented with the certified results from all 83 Michigan counties to review. Staff from the state Bureau of Elections has recommended that they certify the results and make them official. But Charlie Spies, an attorney for Republican U.S. Senate candidate John James, told board members that they had the power to order an audit, citing Michigan statutory language that says the board can "ascertain and determine the result of an election." The James campaign has urged the board to take an additional two weeks to audit the election results by Dec. 7 before voting to certify. James lost to U.S. Sen. Gary Peters, D-Bloomfield Township, by 92,000 votes. "I would suggest if you take the rubber stamp approach, that you are not allowed to have any discretion, that renders your job meaningless," Spies said. House Speaker Lee Chatfield, R-Levering, said the board had "fulfilled its legal duties" by certifying the results. On Friday, he and six other Michigan lawmakers huddled with Trump at the White House. The legislators said they used the meeting to focus on their push for COVID-19 support while Democrats claimed the election was the subject of the unusual gathering. "This is America at work," Chatfield said in a statement. "I am also glad the conspiracy theories pushed by far too many Democrats and some talking heads in the media for attention and personal or political gain have finally been put to rest. "As we have been saying consistently for weeks, the Legislature will uphold the law and respect this result as it works to improve the process for next time." At the beginning of Monday's 1 p.m. meeting, Democratic member Julie Matuzak motioned to certify the election results, but Van Langevelde said he wanted to hear public comments first. "I think that the board's duty today is very important. We have a duty to certify this election based on the returns," Van Langevelde said at that point. "That is very clear. And we are limited to these returns. And I'm not going to argue that we're not. "But I still think that people who signed up to speak today should have the chance to speak before we act on the motion." The first public comment came from Chris Thomas, who served more than three decades as Michigan's elections director before retiring in 2017. Thomas helped Detroit Clerk Janice Winfrey during the November election as a senior adviser. "Am I correct in saying we're not a court here, we don't have judicial power, we don't have the authority to conduct a trial on whether or not election fraud occurred?" Van Langevelde, who works for Michigan House Republicans, asked Thomas "You are correct," Thomas replied. "You're not a body to investigate fraud," the former elections director added. "You don't have the tools to do that. The statute doesn't give you the authority to mandate documents or compel testimony." Van Langevelde's question appeared to reference unproven and refuted claims from Trump's campaign that there was widespread fraud in Michigan's election. However, Jonathan Brater, Michigan's currentelections director, told the Board of State Canvassers on Monday that the election was "extremely well run." "The bureau has not identified any irregularities this year other than the typical occasional human error that is always part of the process," Brater said. Shinkle, a canvasser who also chairs the 8th Congressional District Republican Committee, said there were some some improvements in the administration of the November election. But he said describing it as having run "smoothly was "not accurate at all." Shinkle questioned Daniel Baxter, the former Detroit elections director who was hired as a consultant to oversee the TCF Center absentee counting boards, about supplemental voter lists used by election workers and why more GOP poll workers weren't hired by the city. "We could not get the allotted number of poll workers to make sure that there were enough at each one of the tabulation stations or at each one of the central counting boards," Baxter replied. The meeting was conductedremotely with public access due to the pandemic. Under Michigan law, the Board of State Canvassers must begin the state certification process within 20 days after the election (which this year is Nov. 23) and wrap it up within 40 days of the election (Dec. 13). . Unofficial returns show Biden, a Democrat, won 154,188 more votes than Trump, a Republican, in Michigan. Certification ultimately determines which candidate Michigan's 16 Electoral College votes will be cast for in Lansing on Dec. 14. Legal experts have said the canvassers have few options but to certify the results. "If the secretary of state places the county returns before the board, and no information is missing, the board has an obligation to certify. It has no other duties to exercise," said Steve Liedel, an election law specialist for Dykema Gossett law firm in Lansing who served as former chief legal counsel to Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's transition team. Lavora Barnes, chairwoman of the Michigan Democratic Party, backed that analysis in an interview Monday. "They have one job, and that is to certify this election," Barnes said of the canvassers. Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat and the state's top election official, said democracy had "prevailed." "Our democracy, like the election officials who administer it, is resilient," Benson said. "Today it and they survived an unprecedented attack on its integrity. There will no doubt be more similar attacks in the future, based in falsehoods and misinformation. But then, as now, we will be ready to respond as always with facts, data, and the truth." Protesters gathered near the state Capitol on Monday morning in advance of the meeting. An electronic billboard nearby in downtown Lansing from the group Prosperity Michigan reads, "We voted. We counted. Next step, the State Board of Canvassers certifies the results." There were three potential scenarios for the board's meeting: Certification, a delay or a 2-2 deadlock among the board members. The two latter scenarios could have led to court fights designed to force certification. Top Michigan Republicans and allies of Trump have made claims of widespread election fraud without evidence in attempts to block certification of the results. The heads of the Michigan Republican Party and Republican National Committee on Saturday wrote to the board asking members to delay certification, putting pressure on the two GOP members. Chatfield on Sunday raised the possibility of a "constitutional crisis" if the board splits on Monday. "It would then go to the Michigan Supreme Court to determine what their response would be, what their order would be," said Chatfield, R-Levering, on "Fox & Friends." "If they didn't have an order that it be certified, well now we have a constitutional crisis in the state of Michigan. It's never occurred before." Shinkle has previously said he has many questions about lingering allegations in Wayne County, all of which have been refuted by elections officials there. The unbalanced poll books do not necessarily indicate voter fraud, but are likely the result of clerical errors, experts say. Canvassers certified Detroit results with imbalances in 2016 and in the August primary.

Heartwarming moment kitten is rescued from muddy river in Thailand

A kitten had to be rescued after it fell into an estuary river filled with muddy sludge during a low-tide in Thailand. The fluffy was playing on a bridge when it fell through the gaps in Chonburi province, eastern Thailand. The cat's body was submerged in thick mud as it struggled to move out of it. Concerned onlookers called the emergency services who deployed a team to save the hapless moggie. A brave rescuer rappelled down the bridge using a rope while an emergency kit bag hangs from his back. Upon touching the ground, the rescuer realised it would be difficult to reach the cat as his feet could get stuck in the ankle-deep sludge. He slowly made his way to the animal until he finally held it after wading 10-metres from where he was dropped off in the mud. Rescuer Sathorn Sornsin said: "It was really muddy, and the mud covered my ankles when I stepped in. I almost gave up but I had to reach the cat." The rescue operation lasted for almost half an hour before they lifted the cat back to the bridge. It was cleaned and fed before a nearby resident Masaya Gumeung volunteered to adopt the cat.

Puppy rescued after getting stuck in narrow gap between two walls

A naughty puppy had to be rescued after it was trapped in an extremely narrow gap between two walls in Thailand. The four-months-old dog named 'Brave' was scared after a nearby school parade passed by their house in Trat province and tried to look for a hiding place on November 9. It ran up to a concrete fence at the back of a house to escape onto the other side of the wall away from all the noise. However, 'Brave' fell between the narrow 15-centimetre gap of the 10ft-high wall squeezed in at the bottom. Frantic pet owner, Danai Watkaolam, 31, said she heard the dog crying at the back of their house so she went to check and found the poor dog was trapped. The rescue volunteers used a pole with a small basket at the tip to slowly pull the dog out. They were able to rescue the puppy after 15 minutes and was returned to its owner after checking for injuries. Danai said: "I was scared that my puppy was hurt. He was so naughty. I might have to watch what he's doing all the time." The pet lover added that she will do something about the wall so that her dog and other animals won't be stuck at the narrow gap anymore.

Thai grandfather makes awesome homemade drum kit with barrels and basins

This is the adorable moment an old man delightedly played a low-cost DIY drum set he made using barrels and steel basins. Prawet Deeraksa, 63, played energetic drum beats to his grandchild who watched excitedly outside their house in Ang Thong, central Thailand on November 18. The former musician and now inventor said his grandson asked for a drum set but his family could not afford to buy one. The loving grandfather thought of making one from scratch using materials they have stocked in the kitchen. The retired performer started beating metal oil barrels, pots, pans, and basins - carefully listening to the sound they make - until he finished choosing the materials for his DIY project. He put holes on the materials to use as drum heads and attached to a stand using screws. The creative grandfather even made a bass drum pedal using an old door hinge. He said: "My grandson came to me and said he wanted a drum set but we don't have much money so I made him one using my wife's kitchen stuff. "This drum only cost me around 500 THB (12GBP) and it made my grandson happy which delighted me." The unique percussion ensemble is installed on a pushcart so his grandson can play it anywhere with friends. Generally, a drum set costs between 300 USD and 1,000 USD on average. Factors that determine prices are often quality of shells, hardware inclusion, custom builds, and brand.

Python caught after eating farmer's duck in Thailand

A bloated 15ft-long python sparked panic after raiding a farmer's coop and eating a duck. Waeasae Sapaeing, 39, was woken when he heard loud cackling coming from the shed outside his house at nighttime in Narathiwat, Thailand on November 7. The farmer became suspicious that an intruder had entered the livestock's enclosure since the birds never cried at night unless they were disturbed. He stood up from the bed and found a hungry python feasting on the animals with one duck already in its mouth. The greedy snake chose a large duck for dinner so it was unable to move immediately when it was caught. The farmer worried about catching the snake as he had never done it before, but he had to do it or else more ducks would die. Waeasae pulled the snake from its tail and dragged it to his front house before tying it in a rope attached to the fence. Excite neighbours watched the python outside the house after it was caught as it had also attacked their chickens and rabbits in the past. The homeowner called the rescue team and turned over the animal to them and was released in the wild later.

Smiling assassin who opened fire at a Sonic restaurant in Nebraska killing two people and wounding two others

A man who police said opened fire at a Sonic restaurant in Nebraska has smiled for a mugshot just hours after he killed two people and injured two others. Roberto Carlos Silva, 23, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder and first-degree arson following the incident in Bellevue on Saturday night. The shooting occurred as police were responding to a report of a bomb located inside a U-Haul truck parked in the restaurant's drive-thru. The vehicle subsequently burst into flames. According to a newspaper, Silva had been arrested at the restaurant on Wednesday on suspicion of identity theft 'after someone reported that a person had charged $57usd on his Sonic app to pay for hamburgers and corn dogs.' He was released on bail the following day. It's currently unclear if the shooting was part of a revenge plot against the restaurant. The identities of those killed and injured have not been made public. After the initial report of a bomb inside the U-Haul, a heavy police presence descended upon the scene. A military fail video showing a tank fail filmed from two angles released by IDF soldiers surfaced online. The Merkava tank was being loaded on to a truck when the heavy armored vehicle suddenly flipped over. The soldiers were quick to help after the tank rolled over. A soldier who happened to be taking a video of the loading process can be heard in the background being asked whether filming the loading process is a good idea, to which he replied: "When filming a tank going uphill, you never know ...
