The investigators who are in charge of the cause of the death of former soccer player Diego Maradona assured on November 25 that the experts who surveyed the house in the Tigre private neighborhood did not notice "signs of crime or violence" and believe that the death occurred due to "natural characteristics." Although, they'll await the result of the autopsy that was carried out in San Fernando. Judicial sources assured that Maradona died around 12 o'clock, when he was lying on his bed in a room on the ground floor of the house that he had rented for two weeks in the private neighborhood of San Andr'es, of the Villanueva complex, in Tigre, in which he was accompanied by his nephew, an assistant and a psychiatrist, among others. "We can confirm with tremendous pain that the country and the whole world are going through the death of Diego Maradona at 12 noon," said the attorney general of the San Isidro judicial department, John Broyad, in an impromptu press conference. "We can anticipate that the death has nothing but natural characteristics. No signs of crime or violence were noticed." According to judicial investigators, a few minutes after noon, the police arrived at the private neighborhood along with half a dozen ambulances from different emergency companies that were summoned by relatives and by authorities from the private neighborhood. The doctor of one of those ambulances performed the first CPR maneuvers but was unable to revive him, so death was determined.
