Mexican military vehicles smash through gates to catch 11 members of El Chapo's Sinaloa cartel

The incident took place on Thursday after a police unit requested backup when they spotted alleged members of Joaqu'in 'El Chapo' Guzm'an's old Sinaloa Cartel firing their weapons for no reason in the middle of an avenue in Culiac'an, Sinaloa. Members of Mexico's National Guard, Army, Marines, and the Sinaloa state police joined together for the bust. According to the Sinaloa Public Security Ministry, the armed agents locked down the building and captured the purported Sinaloa Cartel members within an hour without exchanging any fire. Public Security Ministry chief Crist'obal Casta~neda Camarillo said security forces seized weapons that were bought in the US and smuggled into Mexico and vehicles from the cartel members, whose identities were not revealed to the press
