Hundreds Of Illegal Immigrants Arrested In Stash Houses By Border Patrol, BP Using Drones & HiTech [MIRROR]

Federal agents discovered a stash house in Chaparral, New Mexico containing 55 undocumented migrants during the weekend of Sept. 12, according to U.S. Border Patrol. The Border Patrol said agents assisted by Homeland Security Investigations and Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Deportation officers uncovered the stash house while looking into a suspected smuggling scheme. Border Patrol agents said they encountered seven undocumented migrants suspected of being involved in a smuggling scheme near the El Paso International Airport. Information provided by those seven people led to the discussion of 48 additional undocumented migrants crowded in a stash house in Chaparral. The Border Patrol said a lawfully admitted permanent resident and his wife were arrested along with undocumented migrants from Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. 57 people were taken into custody in total, according to the Border Patrol. The discovery of this stash house followed another stash house discovery in El Paso's Lower Valley in which 32 undocumented migrants were discovered. "This incident demonstrates the continued exploitation by transnational criminal organizations who repeatedly use humans for profit regardless of the inherent risks including the potential for the spread of COVID-19 during the ongoing pandemic," El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria I. Chavez said. PHOENIX - At least 50 undocumented immigrants have been arrested after Border Patrol agents helped serve a search warrant at two locations in Phoenix, officials said on Sept. 16. A Border Patrol SWAT team from Tucson was seen near Indian School Road and 27th Avenue to execute the search warrant. Helicopter video showed dozens of people being lined up in an alleyway and taken into white buses in the area. Several dozen people were taken into custody, but it is unknown how many of them were actually undocumented. Federal officials say human smuggling and drug trafficking may have been going on in the home on 27th Avenue. FOX 10 has learned that the situation initially started as an investigation with the Drug Enforcement Administration for possible cartel-related activity. The DEA did not confirm whether drugs were seized from the home. Neighbors react to the arrests "I woke up to footsteps on the roof and I looked out the window I saw a crowd of people were trying to jump walls in every direction and were scattering," an unidentified neighbor said of the arrests. Public records show the home has two bedrooms and is 1,800 square feet. "Never have I ever seen any suspicious activity. It took me by surprise knowing that 30 something plus people were found at that house," the neighbor said.
