The Smyrna Dunes Park is a fine little plot of preserved dunes acreage, that has a dog beach approach along the Ponce Inlet, and further along, multiple stairways off the main walking decks, that go down to the New Smyrna Beach where the Atlantic Ocean's waves endlessly roll in. It's a great park for getting walking exercise: https://ift.tt/2Tyokuy I went out today, Sunday the 1st of March, to walk the entire boardwalk of the park, which is a bit over two miles. It was a good, simple workout for an overweight old man like me, and I stopped along the way to video some of the scenery/inlet/beach/ocean. A surfing competition was ongoing, and the day was fantastic, with an air temperature of about 65, with a 5-10 mile an hour wind that made it feel like the high 50s. Just beautiful...!! It felt good to get out and be alive, instead of self-isolating in the condo like the semi-hermit I usually am, and all was well with my world today. I hope that all of you had a good one wherever you each live. The song that plays in the video is a Jim White song; Objects in Motion. Jim White has some very interesting songs in his large collective output of music. He's somewhat of a legend in the Southeastern United States. I hope that you enjoy the song and the video. It was enjoyable to put all the clips together, especially knowing that some of you are cloistered up in tight living conditions that don't let you get out much, and that you enjoy seeing others bring some outdoors activities to you through the innertubes..........heh.....
