I think we just entered the blow up phase of this pandemic, and by may we'll peak fully infected, and by june and july we'll have more than a million dead if not more. I do think people have changed their behaviors, and that will have an impact on "flatting the curve", but I think right now it is exploding. By giving this 2 week timeline, in the context of china's lies, people are thinking it's under control. Their behaviors may relax in the midst of its explosion when they're at highest risk. Most places are still seeing the small numbers. New york only 700 dead out of millions of people. They're watching the low ball hopkins map, thinking they can go shopping still to stock up before closures. Seeing the low numbers of dead in their age groups, and thus not reaching the levels of paranoia/hysteria required for the zombies to really avoid the virus, especially against the pressures of their paycheck to paycheck employment.
