China custom has detected over 100 fake health certifications issued by Canada on meat suspected to be smuggled from USA. Canadian Food Inspection Agency was forced to admit there are loopholes which allows Americans to re-export unhealthy meat to China via Canada, thus bypassing Chinese custom tariff. As a result, China is considering 100% inspection of all meat from Canada. This is a serious issue as Canadian meat are reputable and healthier than US meat. Canada has stricter standards and banned hormone usage in meat.
