TAYLOR, Mich. Two people are dead and one critically wounded in a crash at Telegraph and North Line. All three victims were inside a Dodge Charger, while the truck driver was minorly injured. The driver of the vehicle - a Dodge Charger - in which Hutchinson and Rich were passengers remains hospitalized. Police are not releasing the driver's name while the investigation is ongoing. The driver of the truck survived with minor injuries. Around 9 a.m. May 28, the Dodge Charger sped through a red light at the intersection of Telegraph and North Line Roads, slamming into a semi truck. Taylor city spokesman Karl Ziomek said an initial investigation showed the truck driver had the green light for as much as 10 seconds when the car careened into it. "Numerous witnesses told police that the car, driving southbound on Telegraph, was going at a high rate of speed and was weaving in and out of traffic," he said in a statement. "Some items found in the car may indicate that the occupants of the car were intoxicated in some form, but thus far there is no confirmation of that. "Police had difficulty identifying the victims because of a lack of IDs on scene. The two fatalities were not confirmed until late last evening. The car was registered out of Missouri, but the occupants were local."
