Xi Jinping's goals for China are based on the rebirth of nationalist pride by tapping into China's long past. Xi's departure from the path Deng Xiaoping started is striking for its aggressive stance and imperialist aims. Xi's China is not Deng's China and we need to realize the difference. Xi promotes the nationalistic ideals of the Qing Dynasty when China considered itself the Middle Kingdom (between heaven and earth, not geographically), and when foreigners would prostrate themselves before the emperor bearing gifts. And Xi emphasizes the period of humiliation against the Chinese from British to Japanese powers. This is how China sees itself today, both as a victim and as a superior power. China intends to alter the World Order in a way where it can dominate all other nations economically, politically, and militarily. This sets us on a path to war with China... America is at a crossroads and, unfortunately, has the worst person in the worst job at the worst time in our history.
