A strong winter system continued to bring gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall to parts of the Northeast. And it combined with snowmelt causing major flooding in some areas on Christmas Day, including here in Worcester, Massachusetts. The National Weather Service has issued Flood Warnings for the wide area of the northeast on December 25.
