Suckers are born every minute. I would not line my cat's shit box with the New York Times. Popular Science is not real science. The New York Times is not in the business of education and the dissemination of accurate information. The NYT is in the business of selling advertising. The NYT does not want an informed audience. The NYT wants clicks, likes, shares, subscribers, subscriptions and viewers to be angry and gullible enough to keep coming back for more. The New York Times and other rags like it love misinformation and bad science. Don't be a sucker and believe the hype. Black holes, life on other planets, stars being born, the multi verse, big bangs, inflation, time travel, and quantum theory is all bullshit invented to fill in the gaping holes in knowledge. Popular Science chooses to allow impossible theory and wild conjecture to fill these gaps in knowledge rather than admit there is so much that is unknown. Theories are a great thing and have their place, but popular science speaks of these things as settled and proven science. Don't be a sucker and settle for junk science. Read past the headlines, use your common sense. The Earth is round. Popular science needs to be put in it's place and Real Science should be placed above all where it belongs.
