Out-of-control car ploughs into security booth injuring two

An out-of-control car ploughed through a security booth, injuring two, in eastern . In the CCTV , shot in Jiaxing City in Zhejiang Province on Tuesday (October 30), a red car suddenly crashes into a security booth after it turns a corner, smashing through it completely. Two security guards had minor injuries and were sent to hospital, according to reports. The case was being investigated and it has at least been revealed the driver was not driving drunk.

Cesar Montano, 56, uploaded the clip to Facebook in which he says ''Happy Birthday Kagawa Chris Morales of Santa Ana''. But he appears to be unaware of a naked woman behind him who appears in the shot, picking up towels from a sideboard. With her breasts and bottom visible, she turns round before disappearing from view while Cesar continues his message in Filipino language, finishing with ''love you man''. Viewers were quick to point out the embarrassing blunder and Cesar, a former government official, the footage.

Life on the contact line: stories of resilience from eastern Ukraine

New York is under attack . This is the story of a village in Eastern Ukraine , founded in the 19th century by German Mennonites. Perhaps fascinated by the "Big Apple", they decided to call it New York. Even if the current official name is Novhorodske, locals like to keep calling it New York . Today it lies on the contact line that divides the government forces and the separatists from the Russia- backed and self-proclaimed Republic of Donetsk . Here, the Soviet-style cars alternate with Ukrainian military trucks that are directed to the main basis that controls the area. It is a sunny day: people go to the market, and children are at school. You might forget that military deployments are only 7 km away , but also war has his own routine and in New York , you'd better be sheltered from 3pm-to 11.pm. This is the time of the day for the exchange of mortar shots . Despite the war, locals like Oksana Lenko don't want to give up. Thanks to a grant from the United Nations Development Program , she opened the bakery "New York" that serves delicious pastries and pizza . It might seem a common business, but for the village, this place is a spot of normality. "I would have any way opened this place later - she says-but that's when we received the opportunity: we got the premises and that's it. We had to open it, war or not war, we had this wish. Moreover, we saw that the war was going on, but also life goes on". The village lost 6 inhabitants under the shelling. For young people, fear and hope are common feelings. Kyrylo expresses them through rap. He is only 17, but appears older than his years. He tells me that music it's not just a passion, it is a necessity to cope with reality. "Songs are like breathing fresh air, after which I feel much better. When I feel overwhelmed by the routine, studying, or frequent shelling, I literally have no one to talk to. So, I simply write my thoughts into the notes of my phone or on a page of my notebook. And when I read them, I feel much better". Life on the contact line is hard. The cities where people used to work are now on the other side. Cease-fire violations are frequent from both sides , and previously fertile fields are now littered with mines. As the conflict in Eastern Ukraine enters in its fifth year, the ongoing violence cast a shadow over Ukraine's development and the livelihood of millions of Ukrainians. In this region, insecurity has destroyed the industry , led to job losses, and damaged infrastructures. It also put additional pressures on Ukraine's already overstretched social protection systems. But few a kilometers away, in the town of Myrnohrad , the central hospital has inaugurated a new X-ray machine, with help from international creditors. Now the surgical unit can serve 11,000 patients a year. The European Investment bank is financing the Ukraine Early Recovery Programme in eastern Ukraine. With projects like this, the EU is seeking to keep close ties with Ukraine, as Jean Erik de Zagon, country manager at EIB explains. "If we make the life of normal people better, that will also straighten the democracy in this country. So if you have better schooling, better education, better health care, you have people who and that is also supporting democracy". This is the only hospital to provide specialized medical care (surgery, trauma, and urology) for the entire western region of Donetsk. The Ukrainian healthcare system had inefficiencies before, but the situation has deteriorated with the conflict. On top of that, hospitals are also overcharged with high demands from internally displaced people . Only in Myrnohrad, there are more than 17,000 . "As the conflict broke out in eastern Ukraine, a large number of Internally Displaced People and militaries came to us, especially in 2014", says Roksana Khohlova, the Principal doctor at Myrnohrad city hospital. "It is clear that we have more patients, but at the same time we have more possibilities to help people". At least 1.5 million people are displaced as a consequence of armed actions in eastern Ukraine and the annexation of the Crimea by Russia . Rebuilding social cohesion is crucial. "I mean the cohesion between the members of the community but also between the population and the State", explains Viktor Muntenau, manager at UNDP's recovery and peacebuilding programme. "It is important to bring them closer together, feeling that they are part of one big endeavor to rebuild what has been destroyed here in the East". The East is important in determining the future of the country, especially in light of the reforms it underwent after the Maidan revolution in 2014 . But the capital Kyiv is far away and the pro-Russia opposition says the government has a dismissive attitude towards that region. The EU is keeping a close eye on the upcoming presidential elections . Katharine Quinn-Judge, Analyst at International crisis group affirms that "There is a chance that if revenge forces win, the EU integration could be stalled. I think that the best chances that these forces do not have too much political currency is if this government shows that you can be pro-EU and also take an inclusive approach to EU integration that benefits all the citizens of the country". Nobody wants another Maidan in Ukraine and the fear is that rise of populist and pro-Russia forces would bring more political uncertainty.

Mobile phone footage captured a wild Asian elephant stealing a bag of rice from a village home in southwestern . In the clip, shot in Pu'er City in Yunnan Province last Wednesday (October 24), an Asian elephant uses its trunk to steal a bag of rice from villager Yang Xuechang's house and then runs away. In another , captured on October 25, the elephant can be seen sneaking into Yang's house again, but villagers shout at it to drive it away. Since Yang had since hidden all the rice, the elephant did not get anything the second time.

U.S Wages and salaries jump by 3.1%, highest level in a decade

- Wages and salaries rose 3.1 percent in the third quarter, the biggest increase in a decade, according to the Labor Department. - Overall compensation costs were up 2.8 percent, ahead of Wall Street expectations. - Wages have been the missing piece in the economic recovery, though the Fed has been raising rates to guard against future inflationary pressures. However the unemployment rate is now at 3.7 percent, the lowest since 1969, and wage pressures have begun to build. The Federal Reserve has been raising interest rates in an effort to stave off future inflationary pressures, though the central bank's preferred gauge of inflation rose just 2.5 percent in the third quarter, including a 1.9 percent increase for health benefits. The wage data came the same day that ADP and Moody's reported private payroll growth of 227,000 in October, easily beating Wall Street expectations. The combination of news sent Treasury yields higher in morning trading. Overall compensation costs for civilian workers rose 2.8 percent, tamped down in part by the small rise in benefit costs, which rose 1.9 percent for the 12-month period ending in September. Employers have been looking for non-salary measures to retain workers, but may have to start increasing wages to attract and retain talent. Gunshot wounds put an average of 8,300 U.S. kids into the hospital every year, according to a new analysis released Monday. Close to half of them were shot on purpose and another 40 percent were shot accidentally, the researchers reported. Six percent of those who made it to the hospital died, the team at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine reported. They said while mass school shootings get the headlines, there's a day-in, day-out toll that adds up to even more. "While mass shootings garner significant media and social attention, unfortunately they're not a good reflection of the actual burden of firearm-related injuries. In our study, we found that for every 100,000 teenagers and children arriving to the emergency department, 11 come for a gun-related injury," said Dr. Faiz Gani, who worked on the study. Separately, the American College of Physicians released new guidelines calling for gun violence to be treated as a public health emergency, and backing legislation to help control gun deaths. And the group, which represents general practitioners, urged physicians to ask people whether they have guns in their homes. The Johns Hopkins team had set out to quantify how much it costs to treat children and teens who are injured by firearms. They used emergency room data from 2006 to 2014, covering 75,000 youths. The average hospital costs were $2,445 for emergency room visits and $44,000 if the injured child was admitted to the hospital, they found. The annual price tag: $270 million, they reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association's JAMA Pediatrics. Unfortunately, these numbers are likely the tip of the iceberg as we were unable to account for subsequent costs for long-term therapy/rehabilitation or expenses associated with lost work for the parents," Gani said. The daily burden is alarming, American College of Physicians said, and updated its policy recommendations for reducing gun-related deaths. "Firearm violence continues to be a public health crisis in the United States that requires the nation's immediate attention," the group wrote in the new guidelines, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine.

Edenbridge Bonfire Society has been famous for poking fun at the famous for more than 20 years, by building and exploding a huge 11-metre tall effigy alongside the traditional figure of Guy Fawkes. Russia's only aircraft carrier, the Admiral Kuznetsov, sustained massive damage from a 70-ton crane falling on it after an accident at a shipyard, Russian media reports. The Kuznetsov, a Soviet-era ship already known for having serious problems, now has a massive 214 square foot hole in its hull after a power supply issue flooded its dry dock and sent a crane crashing down against it. US denounces Russian role in Syria crisis.

The United States Special Representative for Syria has denounced Russia's role in the conflict there and its "unyielding support" for the Assad Regime. In an interview with our correspondent M'eabh Mc Mahon, James Jeffrey said the US would not finance any reconstruction in the country as the situation currently stands. Mr Jeffrey said: "We not think that Russia's seemingly unyielding and complete support for the Assad regime and Assad regime's rejection of a political process, and constant attempts at military solution against the will of the UN and the Security Council has been helpful. We think that what that has done is drawn in all these outside military forces. Now we are staying on, now you have Turkish troops in large numbers in the whole North West of country, you have Israeli air force units flying all around the country who are hunting Iranians who are moving in long range systems to put Israel at risk. This is what Russia has allowed to happen. Mr Jeffrey said that Amerca would now finance any reconstruction in Syria under the current circumstances said it was working to ensure the that "the EU and international organisations such as the UN and the World Bank don't either. The idea of rebuilding a country that has been destroyed primarily by Assad with some help from Iranians and Russians at our cost, and to allow Assad do something like this again, is absolutely ludicrous and we are not going to do it. "The reason why this is so much the talk is that the Russians are extremely active running around saying the war is over and that now is the time to rebuild the country, but almost half the country is not in the hands of the Assad regime.. half the population has fled his area to the Turkish areas or across the borders to Turkey, Jordan or Lebanon. So he is far from having won the conflict. He has drawn in five armies who are to some degree at odds with each other with risk of escalation. This is not one conflict, it is dangerous conflicts. Reconstruction (funds) will not flow until we see cooperation with the regime and we haven't yet."

Disgusting Food Museum to make gross profit with bull penis, mouse wine

One man's nightmare is another man's delicacy. At least, that's the premise behind the newly opened Disgusting Food Museum in Malmo, Sweden. It has 80 different items on the menu, including sheep eyeball juice, fermented shark, bull testicles, and maggot-infested cheese. Visitors will be invited to taste and smell certain foods. One of the dishes on offer is the Icelandic delicacy Kaestur h'akarl consisting of cured shark which has fermented for over 4 months. Funerals held for some of the 11 victims of Pittsburgh synagogue shooting

Pittsburgh got a president and a protest yesterday- US President Donald Trump and his family visited the Tree of Life synagogue, where 11 people were killed in the deadliest attack on people in America's history. His reception was mixed in a city where the mayor had asked him to delay the visit, until after all the funerals were held. Along with his wife, daughter and son-in-law, he placed stones and flowers at the memorials for each of the victims. Later, he visited wounded law enforcement officers at a nearby medical centre. Trump made no public remarks. Outside the synagogue on the streets of Pittsburgh were the protesters. They held up signs and chanted, trying to make it clear that President Trump was not welcome. After this targeting of , the President's previous lukewarm denouncement of nationalism was at issue. "President Trump you are not welcome in Pittsburgh unless you fully renounce nationalism," one protestor shouted. "We would like to ask President Trump to please stop with all of the hate speech," said protestor Jim Skiff. "And to please try to bring our country together. The schism appears to be almost insurmountable, and it is only with great leadership that we are going to recover from this type of an event. And I think the people of this country are really weary of the whole dialectic. We want people to come together in love and peace, and truly make America kind again. That is what we would like." And away from the protests and the President were the funerals. Some of the 11 victims of the shooting were buried with friends and family turning out to share their grief. Rabbi Jeffrey Myers is the spiritual leader for the Tree of Life synagoge. He was there when the gunman opened fire. He told CBC News he had received messages of support from, ", Muslims, Christians, Sikh- every religion imaginable. With support, and love, which is so reassuring to me. It tells us that here in Pittsburgh, love will triumph. Hate will not triumph."

India unveils the tallest statue in the world

The tallest statue in the world is more than twice the size of New York's Statue of Liberty. Standing at 182-metres (600-foot) high, it's a tribute to the Indian independence hero Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Nearly 100,000 tonnes of concrete and steel make up this giant Statue of Unity at a cost of $430 million (EUR378 million). It is situated in Gujarat, about 100 km's (60 miles) from the nearest city of Vadodora. It is hoped it will attract 15,000 visitors a day at a cost of $4.75 (EUR4.18), or 350 rupees, and tourists can view it from the 153-metre high observation deck which reaches the statue's chest. Around 185 families who had to move to make way for the statue have been compensated and given 1,200 acres (475 hectares) of new land, according to the Gujarat government. But it's caused controversy as locals say the money spent on building the bronze-clad construct could have been put to better use.

I am an attorney and I would like for you to please read this summary of events before you listen to this recording, so you may be able to truly appreciate how remarkable this is. Wilcox and she is an attorney for a firm called Smith Freed & Eberhard in Portland/Salem Oregon (many lawyers who listen to this are gonna laugh their heads off at Jessica getting dismantled because Smith Freed is known for doing lame ''how to do law videos'' like ''Yelp I have been defamed'' and even Jessica Wilcox is listed as a ''super lawyer on their site''. Here Jesicca is going up against a man who was framed by a discriminatory property management company (NWPPM) Northwest Pacific Property Management 4280 Chaney Way SE, Salem, OR 97302 and a corrupt BOLI investigator named Rafael Colin who tried to help Northwest Pacific Property Management frame this innocent man by saying he was rude to him and cussed him out as well, during the investigation. FYI based on my research Oregon is one of the most corrupt and places in America, so this should not be surprising. I guess because the Plaintiff was named Islam... NWPPM and Rafael Colin thought he was a Muslim and tried to frame him. NWPPM denied him and his family housing and lied about how he conducted himself on the phone to justify their actions, basically saying he was rude, made crazy demands like free hotel stay in the event of an Earthquake and cussed at them and Rafael confirmed their story by saying Islam was just as rude and unhinged to him. What they did not know was that not only was Islam not a Muslim, but he had 15 years of perfect rental history and a close relationship with every landlord he had ever had, and all of them where chatting with him waiting for a reference check call by NWPPM which never happened ... oh and did I mention that he had been trained by and worked with G.Gorden Liddy! Yes, THAT ONE! The FBI agent that Nixon used to break in to Watergate. lol At the end of the day Islam had tape recorded everything, you see he was a tutor for advanced math and science students and all his calls are automatically recorded, thus he was now able to prove that this company Northwest Pacific Property Management 4280 Chaney Way SE, Salem, OR 97302 does frame innocent people and does train their staff on how to lie and what lies to tell. In this call... Islam need to serve legal papers to one of the liars that had attempted to frame him named Marlene Padgett in order to depose her before trail. A State searched showed that Marlene was now the owner of an adult care business listed as '' a state-licensed Adult Foster Home - Class 2 in Dallas, OR.'' He called the business at 10: 30 at night because logically that is when the residents would be in bed and the staff on hand would be free to talk and able to verify the business mailing address, but in this call... at least in my opinion, Jessica tries to make it look like he is calling an old lady from her home to scare and harass her, and that is when Jessica gets taken to school and make to look like a damn fool! Here is where I come in. So Islam put all his recordings on line and asked for help from think tank groups. I looked in to Northwest Pacific Property Management and I have to say as a lawyer myself it is so foolish to have anything to do with this company and yes I totally believe all positive reviews for it, are faked. This company has been fined for asbestos violations, that alone should make you stay away from them. How much asbestos has been unleashed by their negligence that they haven't been caught for? This company also gives no cause evictions to people. Here is how I think their side scam work, it looks to me.. that Patrick Gorham the owner, his office is staffed with people who are related to him, that is why they don't show their last names or photos on their site, and the ones that are not related to him somehow he is renting to, so he pretty much owns them, in my view because they will need a rental and job reference. Whenever he wants extra money he gives a no cause eviction, but doesn't tell the owner who trusted him to manage the property, so to the owner it looks like renters just up and moved on their own. He then uses his cleaning/maintenance company and adds outrageous charges to keep the security deposit, witnesses have come forward and said he uses threats like ''You better be happy and keep quit or I will see what other problems I can find'' . After hearing Islams broadcast, I knew that after they deposed him they would make him an offer and force him in to silence as part of said offer. That is when it hit me, I can make a dead switch media service and whenever someone is going to be silenced by court order, death, or imprisonment I can buy the rights to their story and all materials beforehand thus , the victim still gets the settlement and yet honors the non-disclosure agreement and I broadcast everything. One last bit of advice, whenever dealing with any housing body do not do anything without a 3rd party like the fair housing team monitoring and recording everything. Woman was lucky to walk home after being hit by car

A woman was lucky enough to walk home after a man she did not know appeared to intentionally hit her with his car. The incident happened on the night of Oct. 17 when the 18-year-old was walking on East Englewood Avenue near Grand Avenue. A car can be seen on surveillance video veering across the street and hitting her before fleeing the scene. The girl can be seen going over the hood of the car and landing on her back before getting back on her feet. After the car drove away, the girl was able to walk the rest of the way home before calling police. She was later taken to a local hospital where she was treated for back and leg injuries. At the scene of the incident, police found "several small parts of the vehicle's front end," and also recovered accident footage from a security system. The evidence pointed to a 2008 to 2012 Honda Accord, which police were able to track to nearby Leonia. The owner of the car was identified as 30-year-old Leonia resident Jonathan Hintze, who was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and knowingly leaving an accident scene. After his arrest, he was taken to the Bergen County Jail. He was scheduled for an initial detention hearing on Monday, and jail records showed he was still in custody Tuesday night.

In this Canberra classroom, a new kind of food menu is being developed - and the main ingredients are edible bugs. A group of students are out to find recipes that will make sustainable foods more popular in the kitchen. PIQUA - A Piqua police officer is facing an OVI charge and is under administrative investigation following a crash while he was on duty.

Officer Justin Augustine, 38, is charged with OVI and operating a vehicle without reasonable control, according to records. "The first principle in any internal investigation is the department's duty to the public," said Piqua Chief of Police Bruce Jamison. "The second principle is the duty to provide fair procedures to any officer involved." Augustine reported the Oct. 27 crash to a supervisor, according to a press release from the Piqua Police Department. A portion of body camera footage was released Monday evening and showed Augustine saying he was "done" and up." This news organization attempted to contact Augustine at his home, however no one answered the door. A police report said he told the supervisor, Lt. Rick Byron, he damaged the cruiser when he stopped in the lot to go the bathroom. A crash report said the cruiser passenger side hit a flatbed semi-trailer parked in the lot, causing heavy damage to the cruiser. "Officer Augustine walked me to the passenger side of his patrol vehicle, where I observed significant damage to the entire passenger side starting at the front windshield and ending on the rear quarter panel," officers wrote in a police report read. "While speaking with Officer Augustine, I observed that his eyes were bloodshot and red and that his speech was slow and slurred."

At least six people have died in total across Italy on account of the extreme weather conditions. Schools and hospitals closed as flooding reached around 156cm on Monday.

Woman Stops Taxi To PEE Outside Door

A woman was so desperate for the loo she stopped the taxi in the middle of traffic and stretched one leg out of the door to urinate - on the road. The young female was travelling in the yellow cab when she pleaded for it to stop in a row of waiting cars at the bustling Asoke Junction in Bangkok, Thailand. She then pushed open the door and planted one foot on the road and the other on the car before hitching up her dress and peeing on the ground. A large puddle could be seen on the tarmac below the reveller, who has not been identified. Shocked motorists began sounding their horns when they noticed the bizarre toilet break just before midnight last Wednesday (24/10) evening. The area was on Sukhumvit Road, the main row of bars and clubs in the Thai Capital, leading some to believe that the woman had had too much to drink.

The male walked up to an employee working behind the courtesy booth and handed her a note. The employee hesitated in reading note, at which time the suspect said "read the damn paper!" The employee read the note and realized that the suspect was attempting to rob the store. The employee immediately hit the panic button and walked away from the counter. The suspect became frustrated and stated that he had a weapon under shirt, but then quickly walked out of the store.

Russia's only aircraft carrier damaged as floating dock sinks

Russia's only aircraft carrier was damaged and a giant floating dock sank after a crane crashed onto the vessel as it was undergoing repairs near the Arctic city of Murmansk on Tuesday. Four people were injured and one person is missing after the accident involving the Admiral Kuznetsov at the PD-50 floating dock, the largest in Russia one of the largest in the world, local authorities and media said. "We are assessing the extent of the damage. A crane fell onto the deck from a height of about 15 meters (45 feet)," the head of Russia's United Shipbuilding Corporation Alexei Rakhmanov told the TASS news agency. "It is clear there is damage to the hull and the deck. Fortunately, it happened on those parts that are not vital to the work of the" ship. Local media said the floating dock holding the vessel had sunk. The accident occurred at 3:30am at the repair shipyard near Murmansk, the governor of Murmansk region Marina Kovtun said in a she posted on social media. "Unfortunately, one person is still not found," she said. "Four workers were removed from the water with signs of frostbite and taken to a medical facility," the regional branch of Russia's Investigative Committee said in a statement on its website. It added that the accident could be the result of "violations in the operation" of ship repair facilities. The Admiral Kuznetsov is undergoing its first major repairs since 1997. They are expected to be completed by the end of 2020 for the warship to rejoin the Russian Navy in 2021. The vessel was deployed to the Mediterranean last year to strike targets in Syria and help Moscow ally President Bashar al-Assad recapture rebel-held areas in the war-torn country.
