A tourist has been bitten by a small crocodile at Cape Tribulation while walking along a creek. The 24-year-old woman was bitten on her upper left leg by a 1.5m saltwater crocodile about 6 pm. A Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman confirmed the woman was transported to Mossman Hospital for treatment of the bite mark, and discharged this morning. Ally Bullifent posted the video on facebook of the incident, showing the croc suddenly launched itself out of the shallow creek while the victim and a friend were filming a mudskipper.
