Car: Audi A5 / Highway "4" direction Poland - On Tuesday noon, 32-year-old Tomasz T. was in front of the court of lay assessor at Bautzen District Court. He was accused of having travelled eastwards on the A4 on 10 February 2017 with an Audi A5 stolen in Hesse. When the police tried to stop him at the Bautzen-West junction, he stepped on the gas. He changed lanes with sometimes 240 km/h. When he wanted to overtake a truck on the hard shoulder, the Pole, who didn't have a driver's license, could no longer hold the car, threw it through the ditch back onto the road and collided with a family van (six occupants) there. Miraculously all of them remain unharmed. The court imposed a sentence of 3 years and 9 months. The man wanted to buy hearing aids for his daughter from the 1500 zloty which he was to receive for the transfer.
