A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper's dash camera caught an unusual highway crash. A black bear collided with a pickup in Howell County. The video shows the bear running from the grassy median of U.S. 60 into traffic where it hit the driver's side rear quarter panel of a passing pickup. The bear bounced off the truck and kept running into the woods. The driver of the pickup was not hurt. It happened Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. 60 at Highway AM near Willow Springs. The Patrol says, if this happens to you, call 9-1-1 and stay in your car until law enforcement arrives.
