CCTV has emerged out of ChIraq,, um, Chicago showing a robber violently dragging an 85-year-old woman and slamming her to the ground to steal her purse outside a condominium along the Magnificent Mile. The cowardly attack took place just after 10.30am on Tuesday as the victim was walking with a cane toward the back entrance of her condo building in the 100 block of East Grand Avenue, which is around the corner from the main entrance in the 500 block of North Michigan Avenue, better known as the Magnificent Mile. As surveillance video from the building's parking garage shows, a man in a baseball cap carrying a plastic bag in his left hand follows the elderly woman as she approaches the door and enters. The perpetrator grabs the bag and takes off running, but in his haste drops his loot on the ground. It was reported that the woman was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital to be treated for a wound on the back of her head. She is expected to recover
