A Baltimore police employee was assaulted and robbed of his car in the downtown area this morning, just days after the deputy police commissioner and his wife were robbed at gunpoint. This latest robbery reportedly happened Wednesday morning just blocks from police headquarters on Fayette Street. The victim was walking to work at 6 a.m. when he was robbed, on Albemarle Street at East Baltimore Street, confirmed police. The victim is a civilian employee at Baltimore Police Department.
