A dramatic video has emerged online on Tuesday of a reported #Russian military #missile exploding shortly after being launched from what is believed to be the Kapustin Yar testing ground. The video purports to show a S-350 Vityaz missile apparently failing after launch, followed by debris falling to the ground. While the date of the accident is not precisely known, sources in Russia's Ministry of Defense confirmed to TASS that a S-350 Vityaz missile self-destructed during drills in Kapustin Yar on December 7th. The Kapustin Yar rocket launch and development site is located in the Astrakhan Oblast, between Volgograd and Astrakhan near the town of Znamensk. According to reports, there were no victims or destruction of property recorded as a result of the missile failure.
