Theresa May wins confidence vote but needs to face her critics | Raw Politics

British Prime Minister Theresa May has won her confidence vote but her critics say she needs to get a better deal. Euronews heard from British politicians about what they think. "She should resign," Jacob Rees-Mogg, Conservative MP, said after the vote, pointing at how May couldn't get her deal through. Iain Duncan Smith, British MP and former leader of the Conservative Party, said the prime minister needed to "step up." "Sort this out and you get your partners, the DUP back on board and you get your party back on board and no one is keener than me to see that happen. But it has to be serious, it has to be binding and it has to be quite clear that the EU now has a decision to make - not us. They do. If you want a deal you better damn well step up to the plate," said Smith. Amber Rudd, Conservative MP, said she fully backs May. "She's got the support of the party behind her and I wish her every success today, making sure she delivers on questions my colleagues have had about the backstop," said Rudd.
