The driver of a sedan was lucky after an Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus ran through a red light, Friday afternoon. Dashcam video caught the incident on camera and shows the OCTA bus barreling through an apparent red light at the intersection of Edinger Avenue and Parkway Loop. The driver of the white sedan with the daschcam rolling is seen easing into an intersection on a green light before abruptly braking. In a moment a full-size OCTA bus is seen crossing into the intersection and missing the sedan by inches. The driver of the sedan and a passenger were shaken up but uninjured. The bus, operating by OCTA and serving route number 70, had two passengers aboard at the time of the near miss. An OCTA supervisor was notified and will be investigating the incident.
