102-year-old Australian becomes world's oldest skydiver

Irene O'Shea is one extraordinary person. At the age of 102 years and 194 days, the Australian on Sunday completed her third skydive in three years landing her in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's oldest skydiver. O'Shea completed her first skydive to celebrate her 100th birthday in 2016 and returned the following year to raise funds for research into motor neuron disease, having lost her daughter to the illness years earlier. On Sunday, she was back in the air over the Langhorne Creek Drop Zone, where she took the plunge from 4,300 metres (14,000 feet) to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease of South Australia.
