Typhoon Jongdari made landfall near Kyoto, Japan, just after midnight on Sunday, July 29, causing wild winds and torrential rain across the city.The typhoon comes just days after a deadly heatwave killed at least 65 people.In early July, Japan was ravaged by catastrophic floods.
