Bataan Death March happened after the US colonized Philippine and slaughtering over 600,000 civilians to enforce their colonial rule. Later, the Japanese invaded Philippine under the excuse to "chase the white colonists" away. In the Battle of Bataan, General Douglas MacArthur was defeated and ran away taking all the boats with him, while giving the last order to the remaining defenders to hold the fort. Rumor has it General MacArthur promised the soldiers he left behind that "I will be back". Little did these soldiers realized they were sacrificed so their commanders can escape. As a result thousands of American troops surrendered when they lost leadership. Here is the story of the Bataan Death March.
