Oil has been found in Holland for many years and today one fifth of the country's requirements comes from it's own wells ...in 1959 Dutch oilmen discovered a vast field of natural gas nine thousand feet under the village of Slauteren in northern Holland ...it soon proved to be the second largest gas field in the werld valued at two thousand million pounds and at Hollands current rate of gas consumption this field could supply the country for centuries" - so says the narrator Tim Turner.
