Not long ago North Carolina, other states had 'other signs' above restrooms: Lynch

After North Carolina officials sued the Justice Department to defend a law that restricts use by transgender people of public restrooms, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said it wasn't so long ago that North Carolina as well as other states, had "other signs" above restrooms, water fountains and on public accommodations "keeping people out based on a distinction without a difference."
