On 4/25/16 at 11:30Am Sgt. Greg Bogert responded to a call of a male walking in and out of traffic on Route 287 North by exit 53 Hamburg Tpke. Once there Dgt Bogert found a male visibly upset and crying. Sgt. Bogert attempted to calm the man. The male then ran to the concrete barrier and attempted to jump off the bridge. Sgt Bogert was able to grab the man and stop him from jumping. The male was taken to an area hospital for an evaluation.
