Shocking CCTV footage has emerged on YouTube of the moment a restaurant boss attacked his dog on his own business premises. Drunk David Nellist flew into a rage with Coco and was captured 'relentlessly pursuing, punching, kicking and picking up by the throat and throwing' the dog. The dog's howls of pain woke a neighbour who traced the noise to the restaurant and she called the police. Tapas bar owner Nellist, 38, of Latrigg Close, Keswick, Cumbria, was also sentenced to two months in prison, suspended for 18 months, ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work and pay court costs of lb1,580. He admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a young black cross bred spaniel type dog called Coco by subjecting her to unnecessary physical violence, magistrates in Workington heard.
