I took my kids on that very same B-17 that just crashed in CT (USA). Can't say that I did not think about crashing, but it was very cool. My kids have flown a few times on commercial airlines so they had some basis for comparison when they said as we landed, "That was the smoothest landing I've ever had." And it was, I could barely tell when we touched down. A credit to the pilots. The whole experience was great. Sorry for the dead and injured.
