Meteorology student captures RARE lightning sprite over Kansas City

My meteorology student (Aspen Deperalta) at MCC-Longview captured this rare phenomenon in her time lapse video. It's a lightning sprite during a lightning storm that passed through the Kansas City area in late April. The sprite happens at about :17.
