A gray whale, believed to be Oregon's famous "Scarback", has been spotted swimming off the coast of Southern California on January 27. Drone footage shows a gorgeous gray whale with a huge scar on its back travelling north alongside two whales of its kind. "Scarback" is a female gray whale known in Oregon for its dramatic scar believed to be caused by an exploding harpoon sometime in the 1980's.
