I was cycling up Euclid (at the base of mount baldy) and came across a coyote that was just hit by a car. It followed me around for a block before giving up and getting stuck in the bushes. I usually conceal carry when I cycle, but there's nothing we could have done, animal control came out and shot it with a tranquilizer dart before taking it to be put down. Shame, no animal should have to suffer like this because a firearm cannot be discharged on the edge of city limits. Enjoy.
